Richmond station.  The award winning Richmond station has seen the transformation by the Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust of  a disused, Grade II* Listed building into a vibrant hub of the community.  It has created around 40 new jobs and is home to:










Rhona has worked on this project since 2005, securing funding for the renovation works and A1 Art exhibition and continues to support the project as a member of the Station Development Group.

NineLakes.  The proposed Ninelakes scheme is a high quality and regionally significant leisure, tourism and sports destination to the south of Wakefield that builds on the existing environmental, cultural and locational assets of the area.  It unites the three historic estates of Chevet, Waterton and Nostell to create a single park extending to approximately 32 square kilometres.  Accend is providing support to NineLakes as a member of the project team, by developing funding bids and providing advice and guidance for the public and private sector partners.

Accend has supported:
Olympia Park. A major mixed-use urban extension to Selby extending to 206 acres.   The proposals for the Olympia Park site include a mix of around 1000 new houses, offices, industrial units, local retail facilities and a new access route built to the latest environmental standards, incorporating flood mitigation measures and seeking  to protect and enhance the existing ecology on the site. New and improved sports facilities and allotments also form part of the package.  Accend is acting as adviser to the consortium behind this £300m scheme on issues relating to funding and the public sector.
